TapScore is an Apple Watch app for keeping score between two sides during a game, match, or activity. This policy explains what TapScore stores, what it does not collect, and how the supporting website is handled.

What TapScore stores

TapScore stores a small amount of app state locally on your device:

• Player or team initials for each side
• The current score for each side

How that information is used

TapScore uses this information only to provide the core scorekeeping experience, including:

• Displaying the current score on the watch screen
• Remembering scores and initials between app launches
• Applying your chosen initials to the left and right score panels

Information TapScore does not collect

TapScore does not require an account and does not intentionally collect:

• Name, email address, or other profile information inside the app
• Location data
• Contacts, photos, microphone input, or camera input
• Advertising identifiers
• Third-party analytics or behavioural tracking data

Haptic feedback

TapScore uses Apple Watch haptic feedback when you score points or reset scores. This is a device feature used for interaction feedback only.

Data storage

App data is stored locally on your device using Apple platform storage. TapScore does not operate a separate backend service for storing your scores or initials.

Website data

This website is a simple informational site for TapScore. It does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts. Your hosting provider may still generate standard server logs for security and operational reasons.

Support requests

If you contact support by email, the information you send is used only to respond to your request and troubleshoot the issue you describe.

Data retention and deletion

You can reset scores inside the app at any time. If you remove TapScore from your Apple Watch, locally stored app data for TapScore is removed from that device subject to Apple platform behaviour.

Children's privacy

TapScore is not designed as a service for collecting personal information from children. The app is a local scorekeeping utility and does not create user profiles.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if TapScore changes. Any updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
